Maintenance & Peptides

What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids—similar in structure to proteins—that our bodies naturally create. They act as messengers, sending signals that guide cells and molecules on how to function. The human body contains more than 7,000 identified peptides, each with its own role. These functions span a wide range, from supporting the immune system and aiding in weight management to enhancing cognitive performance and much more.

Although our bodies make peptides on their own, production levels can vary from person to person and typically decrease as we age. Peptide therapy involves introducing specific peptides into the body to encourage cells to carry out the targeted actions those peptides are known for. Because the body uses many different peptides, there are numerous peptide therapies available—each designed to stimulate a particular effect or pathway within the body.

Types of Peptides

Glutathione Peptide

Enhances Collagen Support: Glutathione helps maintain a balanced inflammatory response and supports the body’s natural collagen-building processes, promoting smoother, firmer-looking skin.Boosts Visible Brightness: Known for its ability to influence melanin pathways, glutathione can help diminish the appearance of dark spots and uneven tone, revealing a more radiant, luminous complexion.
